GENEROUS shoppers helped kick-start a chocolatey appeal on Saturday in The Mall, Camberley.
The Mall hatched its Easter Egg Appeal earlier this month, to encourage shoppers to buy an extra Easter egg and place it in a giant egg collection pod next to the centre’s Ask Me Point.
Chocolate eggs are being collected until March 30, after which they will be carefully delivered to the Portesbery School, on Portesbery Road, for staff and children to share.
The egg appeal was just one of the highlights of Easter Saturday in The Mall this year.
In the afternoon, a fashion show drew the crowds in from the cold to see the latest styles to hit The Mall’s stores.
Between each of the four runway shows, there were style sessions on how to wear the latest looks.
The Mall Monster was also prowling the centre, along with a tottering stilt walker, giving away Easter goodies to some very happy bunnies.
