A MUM from Frogmore is set to tackle the challenge of a lifetime by joining thousands of runners in the 2008 Flora London Marathon.
For Faye Bosley, 32, the monumental task will not only help her stay fit, but it will also allow her to raise cash for a charity close to her heart.
The sponsorship money she raises will go towards the Starlight Children’s Foundation, which granted a wish to her sister Debbie who was diagnosed with non-hodgkins disease at age 11. Ten years on, Debbie has the all-clear, but the charity remains important to the family.
Mrs Bosley, who runs a childminder service from her home in Frogmore Road, has been a member of Sandhurst Joggers for just over a year. She has already completed four half-marathons, including the Fleet Half Marathon on March 16.
Mrs Bosley said: “The marathon has been an ambition of mine for a while, and now that I run regularly with the club and enjoy it, the challenge of 26 miles seems achievable and might even be enjoyable!”

l Mrs Bosley’s childminding group has just received “outstanding” grades in all categories. Started in January, the group is held on Monday from 10am to 11.30am at the Frogmore and Derby Green Social Hall.
