Easter fun at library

THE libraries in Camberley and Frimley Green are offering chocolate-free ways to entertain the kids at Easter.
To mark the launch of six new children’s library cards, there will be free events and activities at both Star area libraries on Easter Saturday, March 22. 
At Frimley Green Library, there will be an Easter storytime and treasure hunt activity day, while at Camberley Library, Zoolab will be running an animal handling workshop, which will give youngsters the chance to get up close to giant snails, snakes, spiders, millipedes, toads, rats and rabbits.
Five to 11-year-olds signing up to join the library from March 22 onwards are able to choose from one of six new card designs launching to encourage more youngsters to get into libraries.

**   Surrey libraries are also offering a free DVD rental to anyone who joins the library in March.
The council’s libraries, had, at last count, more than 26,000 DVDs, including blockbusters and children’s films.
